Whangarei A&P Show is held at Barge Showgrounds, a wonderful 64 hectare rural land reserve located on Maunu Road, just 10 minutes drive from Whangarei CBD.
Public car parking is clearly sign-posted on the Pompallier College or the Museum grounds, both are accessed from SH14. Do not drive in to the showgrounds. Charges, if any, are usually gold coin donations to the community groups whose volunteers provide marshalling to make parking safe and easy for you. You get safe access to parking while supporting community causes!
For those needing disabled parking, there are a limited number of designated car parks near Barge Showgrounds Events Centre in the heart of the showgrounds. (If you have a disabled parking permit, enter in the showgrounds main gate.)
